Gayle Quan

Hi! My name is Gayle Quan (née Van Wely), and I am a recipe developer and contributor for Metrosource, a fashion and lifestyle magazine under the Davler Media Group. My passion for food started at a young age, cooking for family and friends.

I began my career as a fashion designer and worked for various fashion houses, most notably Calvin Klein, where I designed sports wear, lingerie, and accessories. Later I moved into media as the creative director at Metrosource and other publications including Salt Water Sportsman and Motor Boating magazines.

My recipe creations focus on blending my joy of making delicious, healthy food for loved ones with my background in style and design; food that is pleasing to the palate and the eye. I have provided recipes and dish inspirations to professional chefs and home cooks around the world.
